When we launched Fraiche last year, Ben Kennedy - co-founder of The Feed immediately took his own little trip down a nostalgic memory lane to the kinds of goodies he grew up fueling his own sporting adventures growing up in the UK. And the request for Flapjacks was born. And we're not talking about a limp pancake that belongs on a plate with syrup.
Flapjacks - in the UK and here at The Feed - are stout, simple, satisfying little oat bars with just enough chew, and a salted-caramel flavor profile. They're gluten free, and made with golden syrup - an easy to digest, quick to upload invert sugar - making them perfect for your longer endurance efforts where a bit of fiber, a little help staying hydrated and a hit of carbs is welcome.
