Maurten just launched a new bicarb system serving size, Bicarb 12, specifically designed for lighter athletes, using the same Hydrogel Technology that’s in Maurten gels and drink mixes to encapsulate the bicarb and make large servings tolerable for athletes.

The New Legal Performance Enhancer

The Maurten Bicarb System does for bicarbonate what Maurten Gel 100 and Drink Mixes did for carbohydrates — use Hydrogel Technology to encapsulate the bicarb and make high doses tolerable for athletes.

The Maurten Bicarb System has different serving sizes — 12, 15, 19, 22 or 25. The number refers to the grams of sodium bicarbonate in a single serving. Each box of the Maurten Bicarb System contains 4 of the same serving size. The right serving size for an athlete is determined by assessing their weight and previous experience with bicarbonate. Lighter or less experienced athletes should start with a smaller serving size. Use the table below to determine your optimal serving size based on weight and experience.
